About Us
Michigan State University was founded in 1855. In 1862 the institution became the model for the nation’s 69 land-grant colleges established under the Morrill Act. Since that time, MSU has dedicated its resources to the land-grant mission of teaching, research, and outreach. Michigan State University offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in most academic disciplines and is fully accredited.
Mission
The English Language Center (ELC) was established in 1961 to serve the English needs of international students. It provides a testing and teaching service to the university and teacher-training support to MA TESOL students enrolled in the Department of English. The ELC is committed to making a contribution to the field of TESOL through the publications of its faculty. Underlying all activities of the ELC is a commitment to increase cross-cultural awareness and promote internationalism at Michigan State University. ebert movie review roeper ebert and roeper movie review
